HOW TO MEASURE A MULTIPOINT DOOR LOCK
STEP 1 : NOTE THE MANUFACTURER
STEP 2 : MATCH THE MECHANISM
Looking at the central mechanism, note which of the following configurations matches that of your current lock.
STEP 3 : LOOK AT THE SECONDARY MECHANISMS
Go along the lock faceplate and make a note of the numbers and types of secondary mechanisms.
STEP 4 : MEASURE
Measure the handle/spindle centre and backset as illustrated.

A: Spindle centre to top hook Taken from the centre of the handle/spindle to the first secondary top locking mechanism.
B: Spindle to top roller Taken from the centre of the handle/spindle to the second secondary top locking mechanism.
C: Spindle to bottom hook Taken from the centre of the handle/spindle to the first secondary bottom locking mechanism.
D: Spindle to bottom roller Taken from the centre of the handle/spindle to the second secondary bottom locking mechanism.
